This is part of the Milwaukee County Parks Postcard Series. Riverside Park is apart of Milwaukee's "Emerald Necklace" of Parks. Riverside was a part of the Milwaukee Park Commission's first projects. The formation of Lake Park, Riverside Park, and Newberry Boulevard. Landscape Architect Frederick Law Olmsted's vision was to connect them all into a continued park land that incorporates urban living. Olmsted's vision was to bring people together and not divide. This image features the Stone Arch located at Milwaukee's Rotary Centennial Arboretum, which was a project of the Urban Ecology Center located within Riverside Park.
